Augustin Yao Amegayie is the Family of the Month. Augustin is a retired military man and has since being cultivating cassava and corn. Last year, with support of MORE Foundation Group and donors, Mr. Augustin Yao Amegayie Family planted 2,000 trees on 3 acres of land. Not only does this trees serves as good shade for other crops, but also serves as feed for livestock — especially the leucaena leucocephala. Mahogany provides timber in the long-term, thereby creating income from trees and crops.
